This is the highest vote total for an Independent (or third party) candidate for Ohio executive office in history.

Libertarian Joseph – why?
You have an Independent with the same platform. Running Independent allows you to bring in other liberty-minded individuals, anti-establishment 3rd parties, disaffected Republicans and Democrats, and independent voters. Many of them will not vote for the Libertarian brand.

Why won’t they vote for the LP? That makes no sense.

Because they have pre-conceived notions of what the LP is. Maybe it makes no sense, but it’s a completely obvious reality.
