The video’s description:
Having refused to be a guest on KQED´s public affairs program Forum because she was not allowed equal time, America´s leading peace activist Cindy Sheehan audaciously called in to the program this morning to get a chance to address House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Upon stating that Nancy Pelosi has ducked her responsibility of meeting with her San Francisco constituents since 2006, the impatient program host, Michael Krasny, interrupted Cindy to prod her to ask the question his call screeners had agreed to. In all, Cindy Sheehan was granted less than 40 seconds to speak, and was not allowed to respond to Nancy Pelosi´s answer. Cindy Sheehan is running against Nancy Pelosi for California´s District 8 Congressional Seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. Written by Robert Livingston.

wow, no one noticed that headline. I’m laughing.
Pelosi supporters protest inside the local public radio station
Supporters?
I know, I was just saying.
Gregg – I suggest http://www.therealnews.com
Ross, I don’t like what the station did but using a megaphone indoors – especially for person to person conversation – is infantile and sinks the group’s legitimate concerns to the level of sandbox antics.
This is but one example of why I do not donate to “public” broadcasting, which I describe instead as “government programming”.
If Greens, Libertarians and independents were to give their PBS and NPR donations to a truly independent and publicly funded broadcast effort, I have little doubt that there would be enough cash to make it fly, perhaps not with reporters being paid like these government reporters are paid, or with offices scattered across the globe, but with real even handed reporting we all know we need.
If it were not for Internet radio and video we might never even know anything but the corporate and government positions on the issues of the day, and to be frank, I don’t have any more in common with Tavist Smiley and Juan Williams than I do with Al Roker and Geraldo Rivera.
The Catholic Trotskyist Party of America breaks from its usual support of the Democratic Party and endorses Cindy Sheehan. Conservatives, libertarians, socialists and greens unite to castigate Pelosi.
I’m sure the protestor would argue that the radio’s unfair policies are unpleasant.
The phone call was interesting but the protester with the megaphone was very unpleasant.
Were his supporters there?
Kudos to IndependentPoliticalReport for putting this up. I think the title of this blog post should be Sheehan and Phil Berg (Libertarian candidate) supporters protest inside.
Nancy Pelosi is a hateful warmonger. No surprises here.
