		<description>I hope this campaign helps build stronger Left grass roots, that can lead to a new, Left/progressive political party by 2010 that will focus on local and Congressional candidates.

I think the Obama regime will alienate a great many of the new Leftists that came to radical politics via their hopes for the Obama crusade. And hopefully a new political force independent of the DP can draw those people in.

I&#039;m not so keen on Sheehan&#039;s proposed &quot;First Party&quot;, but I think she can be a major force in building a new party.</description>
