Constitution Party seems to be behind many of the “birther” accusations. Many of their party members have stated that “unless we see Obama’s birth certificate , we will not follow anything he says” A Nightingale for governor CA constitution party spoke of this at a rally here in Arizona, as did Ton Tancredo, many others in that party. Is the AIP with keyes also with the CP?

As a US citizen who has PERSONALLY delivered babies and obtained birth certificates for them in these Our United States, I can assure you that a “Certificate of Live Birth” not only IS a birth certificate but is the only damn piece of paper you will ever be issued by our government in response to pushing out your little bundle of joy. I don’t know what document you people want, but whatever it is it does not exist in the real world. Not that facts make a difference to you clowns. Sigh…….

The challenge to Obama to produce his birth certificate is appropriate but as noted previously the only, and real, reason for Keyes to file this lawsuit is to obtain publicity as part of his task to put lipstick on his pig. Thanks so much folks. After reading these blogs, I see great opportunity for selling tin hats to protect you folks against the gamma rays that the Martians are broadcasting to take over your minds.

But then that would suggest that there are actually brain cells operating here.

This issue has been absolutely settled (see Factcheck.org). Quite apart from the mountain of evidence that Obama was born in the US, does anyone believe that these Satanic (“socialistic!”) forces are so brilliant that they chose Barack Obama at his birth in 1961 and cleverly inserted announcements of his birth in the two Honolulu papers? Maybe he was really impregnated by Mephistopheles. Oops, I withdraw that less it be posted on a number of loony websites that Obama is the spawn of the devil. But then I forget: that’s already on these websites.

But of course you birthers can believe anything. I know why Alan Keyes is a wingnut on this issue–and I think I know the reason a lot of people are equally willing to become lunatics on the issue. It is tough, having a N—er in the White House, isn’t it?

As an independent who is fed up with the Republican Party, I should be pleased to see the crazies taking over, but I’m not. We need a responsible conservative party in this country, not a party of deranged lunatics.

You people need to get a life–and a brain.

The Supreme Court will never hear any case involving his citizenship.
If he is found not to be a natural born and denied the presidency than massive riots will occur in our cities.The court will always find a legal excuse not to hear any such case.
The real problem is the Supreme Court.
I propose the following scenario.
Someone from vital statistics leaks information
that Obama has no birth certificate on record and is either charged with a felony or fired.Cae then goes to the Supreme Court.The court then denies the case because the firing was based on policy and
not on the actual document.
The sad part would be that the case would deny someone from defending the constitution.

You just missed two important things; 1) Obama’s Mother and Himself were both citizen of Indonesia, 2) If he cannot prove he was born in the U.S. his mother does not meet citizenship laws at the time of his birth having been a citizen for only 10 years (â€œâ€¦If only one parent was a U.S. Citizen at the time of your birth, that parent must have resided in the United States for at least ten years, at least five of which had to be after the age of 16.â€). Which means she would have needed to have been 21, she was 18.

Back to reality: It’s amusing that the wingnuts put forth the preposterous theory of Obama being born in Kenya, when for their purposes it would suffice to allege that, for example, Obama was born in Canada after Ann Dunham gave birth after sightseeing at Niagara Falls, and went into labor after crossing to the Canadian side for the better view, or even that she gave birth while on an airplane flight from Buffalo, N.Y. to Duluth, MN while it was over Canadian territory (look at a map), but while it has no more evidence than the Kenyan birth story (none), and is millions of time more plausible, it doesn’t have the sizzle, the pizazz, of claiming that Obama was born in Kenya.

It’s also pretty apparent that the law in question is intended to apply to parents who establish residency outside the United States: for example, Winston Churchill’s mother was American, but she had established residency in Great Britain, and it would be quite a stretch to argue that Churchill was eligible for the presidency of the U.S.

Also, the law in question seems to me to apply also to cases where a parent was born in the U.S. but had never established a residency in the U.S. at all. (A person born shipboard in a U.S. port is technically eligible for U.S. citizenship.)

Finally, the fact that so many believe the preposterous story of “Obama’s Kenyan Birth” shows how easy it is to persuade the masses of absurd fictions. Iraq WMD’s, Hussein-9/11, anyone?
