Libertarian Hotties seeks to make over the movement’s image

November 13th, 2008 · 14 Comments

Proclaiming “Freedom is sexy,” Libby Belle is trying to make over the frumpy image of the libertarian movement with her new site, Libhotties.com.

In addition to the home page, they have a gallery, forum, myspace, and facebook group.

Taking an ecumenical approach to politics, they link to the Libertarian Party, Boston Tea Party, Democratic Freedom Caucus and Republican Liberty Caucus, as well as several non-partisan libertarian groups.

Libertarian Hotties is ranked #13 in Top 100 Libertarian Blogs. In the comments at Reason Hit & Run, JW writes:

I just want to know where this mad libertarian scientist’s lab is that is cranking these babes out.

I didn’t see anything saying she is a libertarian though.

Also, that seemed like a very strange non-sequitur to the preceding portion of the article, and what is with the weird purple background?

Yes it will. Just don’t put more than two links in the same comment, and take out the space after the dot on the second two. If you put in more than two links, you have to wait until I pull it out of comment moderation.

One of my friends, also in the liberty movement, Cyan Banister and her husband Scott put together zivity.com. It is a new business model, and seems to be working.

I didn’t see anything saying she is a libertarian though.

You mean you didn’t see the part where she said she was for universal health care, the minimum wage, strong anti-trust legislation, and social security (a GREAT program), and also supports fatwas against people who criticize the phony religion of Islam?

This won’t work for the same reason that vegans don’t have thicker numbers.

I think that they should have an annual or bi-annual meeting in Tampa. I would be happy to organize it for them!

    Where does it say that?
