IPR traffic report: over two thousand posts, over one million page views served

November 19th, 2008 · 8 Comments

IPR’s traffic report hit over one million page views today, and this month looks like it will be the third in a row with over 200,000 per month, if present trends continue.

IPR will reach the half year mark tomorrow, and passed the 2,000 article mark early this morning. So far, we still seem to be holding up pretty well now that the election is over:

Within the last week, IPR has had a thread in the 400 plus comment range, another nearing 400 comments, and a third which appears likely to match or surpass them.

As of this writing there are 25,562 comments on 2,005 posts (average of 12.75 per post).

Oh, and the competition? We report, you decide:

Pretty good for a site that steals “90%” of its content from B.A.N.

Hey, where’s Steve what’shisname… Who when I founded IPR said I’d be back posting at TPW within a week.

    FUCK YOU, DUDE.

“Steals” would imply lack of consent. I’ve asked Mr. Winger to let me know if he now feels, or ever comes to feel, that I am posting too many of his articles. I always link back to them and give him credit. I don’t have access to BAN stats, but I would guess that we send a good share of referrals that way.

90% is pretty ridiculous. 9% is probably more like it.

And, if that doesn’t work, there’s always that song I played the last time this “issue” came up.

Now that it is under new management can the tags links on the left be reconfigured. They make viewing on my phone a real pain. In fact I check TPW more than IPR because I use my phone most of the time.
