From the Illinois Reviews:
State Senator Chris Lauzen (R-Aurora) will be addressing Illinois’ Constitution Party’s special convention to be held on January 17, 2009 at the Peoria Public Library.
The Constitution Party’s state chairman Randy Stufflebeam says the party plans to organize in all 102 Illinois counties over the next two years. Stufflebeam reports he’s received an unprecedented number of calls about the Constitution Party since the November 4 elections.

I’d hate to see them become the defacto Libertarian Party in my state. Where the hell is the LP?!

Not on the ballot, since Scott Kohlhaas did not file FEC paperwork when he was executive director of the state party (resulting in five-figure fines) and did not turn off the utilities when he left, so as a direct result there was no money for ballot access in 2006, so the Green Party got on the ballot and became a major party instead, and the CP might be next.
But, hey, at least Scott managed to make six figures for himself on the 2002 drive, so it all balances out, right?
Naturally, these are all good reasons why he is the ballot access director of the national LP now.

State Senator Chris Lauzen is rumored to be a possible Gubanatorial candidate for the CP-IL. They’ll need a decent vote total in the next Gubanatorial election in order to maintain ballot status and I’d bet State Senator Chris Lauzen could deliver.

We can get them on for 2010, I’ve worked Illinois three times.

Paulie,
You have to be paid—the CP, and especially its’ state affilliates, are quite poor. They may take you up on the offer though. Both Illinois and NY are top priorities in 2010, I believe.

Fantastic news! Very glad to hear that the Constitution Party is drawing more attention.
For those interested in supporting individuals who truly believe in small, non-nanny, non-interventionist government, the Constitution Party is the answer.

Do they have lists? We have fundraisers.

Well once the left-wing illuminati do their damage, other countries won’t want anything to do with us.
