New York’s Kingston Daily Freeman has a feature on resident John Wadlin, who attended Syracuse University Law School with now-Vice President-Elect Joseph Biden. While “the two were not close, Wadlin said, he had a few classes with Biden. ‘I was friendly with him,’ Wadlin said. ‘We used to play a lot of touch football. He was an excellent quarterback.’”
But Wadlin “said he did not vote for the Democratic ticket of Biden and President-elect Barack Obama in the Nov. 4 election. Wadlin said he votes Libertarian. ‘I’m a believer in small government, so I don’t vote for Republicans or Democrats,’ Wadlin said. He said he is concerned the country is headed in the wrong direction, away from personal freedom and personal responsibility.”

I almost didn’t bother with it, but I thought it was interesting that someone who was friendly with a major party VP candidate would still vote for a minor party ticket.
