the economy is a goner anyway.

we may be poor, but lets hold our heads up high, and have some dignity….protect civil liberties.

The fact is, Republicans are not fiscal conservatives…for the most part, at all. They simply become ‘sudden fiscal conservatives’ when they are the ‘out’ party, trying to find a wedge issue to ride sentiment back ‘in’.

One party rule is the result of 50 states voting. I strongly believe you never vote simply to countermand the wishes of other states.

If, among all the states, there is a 60 vote majority for Democrats…well thats just what happened.

Jim Martin being slightly better on civil liberties would tip the balance in his favor for me.
