Has there been any post or discussion here about the Barr campaign email of a few days ago mentioning that they have $50,000 in bills yet to pay and asking for donations still??

Why don’t we hear more about this John Monds fellow? I think he’s now our highest raw-vote getter ever. An NAACP leader who understands that racial equality requires individual liberty and a consumer advocate would be an attractive presidential candidate in 2012 after corporate bailout after bailout that will come with President O-bomb’em.

Truthers in the movement? Or just in your party?

I want people who seek the truth in the Boston Tea Party. Those are good people. Send them all our way, please.

People who seek the truth and are not willing to believe the government’s version of events are decent, sincere, and in many cases very intelligent. Since the government lies all the time, I want truthers to feel welcome in the liberty movement.

If it makes Drunkenmiller unhappy, good.

Yet “the candidates of the Libertarian Party received more than 13 million votes! This is a record for the Party”

I would not refer to such a record as a “dud”?

If anything, I congratulate the USLP & its candidates for their colossal success!

I don’t particularly care about the other “alternative” lifestyles people; let them come along as they please. However, placing them as the face of the Party is, and always will be, a mistake.

This doesn’t make any sense, but coming from Bill, that’s not surprising. I haven’t seen that much spin since my last trip to the laundromat.

If we came in and came out of the cycle with ballot lines in 27 states, lost South Dakota, gained North Carolina, and others were mentioned as gained or lost, who were they, and most importantly, why? Explain what went wrong and what went right and why, not just that it happened.

No, for the most part, the election was a colossal dud for Libertarians. The responsibility for that starts and ends at the top with the ineptness of Barr and Redpath.

Hopefully the respectable ones will purge all the weirdos, freaks, radicals, purists, anarchists, Paulbots, paleos, truthers, isolationists, potheads, and anyone else who fails to conform.

As soon as that happens, the LP will coast to victory, gaining majorities in both houses of Congress for all time. For sure.

I like Bill Redpath. I’m glad the LP still has this level of talent.

All the weirdo’s I’ve met in the LP, but at the top…always good and bright people.

Well…I never realized just how much ppl really thought Bob Barr was going to do more. I guess, when I saw his money raising so consistenly low, my expectations were much lower, much sooner.

So he didn’t disappoint me at all. Good to see membership up, thats the main thing.
