The AP reports Minnesota Independence Party U.S. Senate candidate Dean Barkley is today launching two radio ads featuring former governor Jesse Ventura. Ventura “asks voters to send another ‘wake-up’ call by picking Barkley,” and “also touts Barkley’s record of accomplishment” during his brief service in the Senate in 2002. The ads can be heard here.

The alternative Minnesota Post looks at Barkley’s chances to win the seat again.
