The CPD is a heroic organization that understands the presidential debates are late in the election campaign and the voters really only care about potential winners. Also, there is some third party representation, as McCain has been endorsed by the Independence Party of New York, and Obama has been endorsed by the Catholic Trotskyist Party of America. Furthermore, if the my Fringe Alliance Strategy had been adopted, then the third parties would have nominated a good candidate like Ron Paul or Mike Gravel and that person would be in the debates.
