From the Modern Whig Party:

MODERN WHIG CHAIRMAN TO BE ON WNYC 93.9 FM
Mike Lebowitz, chairman of the Modern Whig Party, is scheduled to be a guest on “The Takeaway,” a drivetime radio news show hosted by John Hockenberry and Adaora Udoji.

WNYC is an NPR affiliate in New York City that works in conjunction with the Public Radio International (PRI), BBC World Service, New York Times and WGBH Boston. The live broadcast is scheduled for around 7:30 am Thursday.

The discussion will focus on political discourse in the military and how technology has changed the rules. This topic is especially relevant to the Modern Whig Party due to the grassroots movement’s relatively high membership rolls among active duty and reserve military members. The organization was oiginally founded as a veterans’ advocacy organization prior to becoming a mainstream political party.

Mike Lebowitz, a combat veteran of Iraq and prominent Washington, DC attorney, is regarded by various media and professional outlets as an expert in military law and military expression issues. As an advocate for veterans’ issues, he has testified to Congress and spoken at various other functions.
