The Republican, Libertarian and Green candidates participated in the debate while the incumbent Democrat sent a representative. The debate was hosted by the League of Women Voters.

Does the League of Women Voters actually do anything to represent women anymore?
What do you think about the incumbent sending a representative? It’s less insulting than not participating at all, but is it enough? In most states we could say that the congressman is too busy with the financial crisis right now, but this is Maryland, so that shouldn’t be a problem.
