Americans for Prosperity will be holding a major summit called “Defending the American Dream” next week in Washington. I’ve been offered a last minute invite by some local AFP folks here and I think I’m going to take them up on it.
This will likely include blogger press credentials and potentially some access to conduct interviews. I’m planning to post some stuff here and on another blog I write for.
It occured to me that some of our other bloggers or regular readers might also be attending this event or at least be up in the DC area next week and perhaps we could plan to meet-up for a drink or hamburger during the downtime. Any takers?

I almost went to this, was invited and offered a free trip, too bad I had work.

Ditto. Am just making sure I can take off next Friday before I sign-up officially.
Shame you can’t make it, Trent.

I’ll be attending the summit next weekend. Reserved my hotel and plane ticket yesterday as a matter of fact.
Look at the Texas delegation — I’ll be one of the bloggers (to see what I look like: myspace.com/dauben) — but this will be a great opportunity for the libertarian messengers in a sea of bailout sellouts.
