I believe Cynthia McKinney has agreed to participate, and I believe Rosa Clemente has agreed to participate in a Veep debate as well.

I’ll post that tomorrow if no one else gets to it first. That’s a disappointment (I never thought Obama or McCain would participate, but I thought at least the top third party candidates would have a professionally organized forum that would get some good press. Looks like that won’t happen, either).

I guess this guy is just trying to reach a wider audience, johncjackson. You could have said, “Why try to raise money for a fringe Republican?” But Ron Paul’s campaign turned into a great success for him even if he didn’t win.

Is all the money going to the venue?

What about say, buying network time in swing states for this? Otherwise, why donate to something that would already be on cspan anyway?

There is a 3rd party debate every election. It is usually on CSPAN and anyone who cares already watches it or knows how to seek it out. Ok. I don’t see the demand significantly higher this year.

The only debate worth caring about would involve major party candidates as well. We know that ain’t happening.
