In an editorial in the New York Daily News, Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz points to the Democratic and Republican party candidates shared support for the government of Israel, and to the Green Party’s lack thereof. He points out that, in the “major” parties, support for the government of Israel is a given, while in smaller parties that support is not.
Dershowitz shows that he is not fully on top of all things Green Party with this statement:
Yet the Green Party nominated this bigot for the presidency of the United States. Previously they nominated Ralph Nader for President and Peter Camejo for vice president, both of whom have long records of anti-Israel bigotry and sympathy for terrorists. The Green Party itself has supported divestiture against Israel but not against tyrannical regimes that incite and facilitate the murder of innocent Israelis and Jews.
While it is true that Ralph Nader was the Green Party nominee for President twice, Peter Camejo was never a Green Party nominee for Veep.

Dershowitz is an Israel-first neocon of the Left (a traditional neocon). The Greens should wear his scorn as a badge of pride.

Good call stupid. Because most third parties care about Americans and not anti-American lobbyists like AIPAC.

Dershoputz hates me because he hasn’t sent me any money lately.

Ugh. What a disgusting attitude – if you don’t conform 100% to the neocon’s views on Israel, you’re automatically “anti-Israel.”

The Green party should thank him for the positive press coverage.

I agree. Make it a press release.

BTW, Israel would be better off without the American taxpayers stolen loot too, not just America. Not sticking uncle sam’s cock in the middle east beehive and bring back a trail of angry bees would be an added positive.
And the kind of shitty attitude that says any national regime should be above reproach does not exactly endear said regime and its supporters. Unfortunately, lots of people can’t make the fine distinction between that and all Jews, and thus equally give anti-zionism a bad name as well.
The way my dad explains it, Jews evolved from Israelis much as mankind evolved from the apes, but recently some have retrogressed. Of course, he says this as someone with family in Israel, so he can say that.
