Schansberg applauds Paul’s call to address issues and to vote third-party

September 10th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Dr. Eric Schansberg, who is running for U.S. Congress in Indiana’s 9th district, has issued a statement endorsing Campaign for Liberty’s four-point unity platform.

Schansberg commented, “All of these are vital issues which are either ignored or made worse by most politicians in the major parties. For example, the public sees gas prices as the most important issue. But the biggest contributor to higher gas prices has been the devalued dollar given to us by President Bush and his big-spending, credit-card-wielding Congresses.”

Dr. Schansberg also agrees with Dr. Paul’s call to support third-party candidates who will address these issues. Schansberg said, “People clamor for change and 40% of the public says they are politically “independent”. My campaign gives voters in the 9th District a great opportunity to exercise their political independence. Unfortunately for my opponents, they have to run on their records. If voters want someone new, who is knowledgeable and principled, I’m glad to provide them with that opportunity.”

Good for Schansberg! I rooted for him in 2006, too.
