The only other person who really came close to being on the VP spot was Gov. Gary Johnson. It was important to us that the VP be qualified, an elected official who was part of the liberty movement and who added something to the ticket. Gary Johnson did that, and we knew he would accept it–but now we’ve gotten word that Barry Goldwater Jr will not only accept it—he might visit Louisiana for a few campaign events.

Hurt both Baldwin and Barr? Neither will score 1% in Louisiana…whats to hurt?

Baldwin likely wont be on the ballot in Texas, Illinois, New York, Georgia, Oklahoma, Maine, Conneticut, Indiana, New Hampshire, North Carolina,California, and possibly not Pennsylvania or Montana. That is 37 states, 39 is we luck out–less than or equal to Peroutka.

Im not worried about HURTING Bob Barr or Chuck Baldwin…im more concerned about how much it will hurt John McCain, about how much it will help the wider freedom movement, and about how much educating we can do here in Louisiana through this.

I don’t see the point of this other than to hurt both the Baldwin and Barr campaigns.
Sure I’d love to see Ron Paul as President but I don’t think this will get him the White House.
