North Carolina: Barr 2%, Nader 2%, McKinney 1%

September 19th, 2008 · 3 Comments

An Opinion Research poll of 910 registered North Carolina voters conducted September 14-16 shows Libertarian Bob Barr and independent Ralph Nader each at two percent in the presidential race, with Green Cynthia McKinney at one percent. However, as the Raleigh News and Observer reports, “of those, only Barr will be on the North Carolina ballot.” John McCain led Barack Obama 48% to 47% in the poll.

It’s interesting that the N&O mentioned the third-party candidates in that poll. On the state level, we Libertarians have been having a problem with McClatchy papers (owners of the N&O and Charlotte Observer). They have been reporting on poll results which included LP candidates for governor and senate (me), but then editing that information out. Benign neglect is bad enough; active censoring of information is an abomination of journalism.

Everyone please help target North Carolina for continued ballot access. They need to get 2% for Governor or President to retain ballot status. This will save a huge ballot drive effort for 2012.

Send your best donation: $100, $500, $1000, up to $4000 to Munger for Governor.

    Google:

    Munger for Governor.

Things are sooooooooooo bad in Collie Fornia that the McClatchy daily in Sacramento [the Bee] is actually more fair and more honest than establishment suck ups like the [FOR SALE] Sandy Ego Union Tribune and North [San Diego] County Times. Sad, sad, sad.

Schwarzenegger [big time friend of the Union Tribune Copley family, the catholic nazi bastards] and his upcomming recall are on hold via the state budget stuggles.

Like 2003, NOT ONE west coast daily is pro recall! But it did not stop us then, and it will not stop us now………
