		<description>No, in 2004 Nader was on in Michigan as an independent.  Although the national Reform Party nominated Nader in 2004, in Michigan Nader couldn&#039;t get the Reform line.  There were two factions of the Reform Party.  One faction nominated Nader but the other faction refused.  The Michigan Secretary of State said she couldn&#039;t decide which faction was the legitimate faction so she left all Reform Party nominees off the ballot for all office.  Therefore, Nader lucked out that the Republicans had circulated an independent petition for him.  And the Reform Party went off the ballot since it flunked the vote test, obviously, since it had no nominees on for any office.</description>
