Judge says Barr can stay on Pennsylvania ballot

Pennsylvania’s Allentown Morning Call reports Judge Johnny Butler has ruled that Bob Barr may remain on the state’s ballot as the Libertarian presidential candidate. Butler “rejected arguments that the party tricked voters by gathering signatures under another candidate’s name and substituting Barr’s name in August.” Butler said the LP “was trying to comply with state election laws, not to mislead voters.” Barr’s listing was challenged by Cumberland County Republican Party Chairman Victor Stabile.

I didn’t think that there was any merit to this challenge.
