A Davis, Hibbitts & Midghall poll of 500 registered Oregon voters conducted September 11-14 (+/- 4.4%) finds Constitution Party candidate Dave Brownlow at four percent in the state’s U.S. Senate race. Incumbent Republican Gordon Smith leads Democrat Jeff Merkley 42% to 39%.

Good to see any candidate from a third party polling more than the difference between the two major party candidates. Not as good to see him below the margin of error in the poll.
When I see the initials CP, I often have to pause and remember that I’m not reading a spam e-mail.
