An AP-Ipsos poll of 876 registered voters nationwide conducted September 5-9 (+/- 3.3%) shows independent Ralph Nader at two percent in the presidential race, with Libertarian Bob Barr at one percent. And a Research 2000 poll of 1,100 likely voters conducted September 9-11 (+/- 3%) has Barr and Nader at two percent each. Neither poll included other alternative party candidates as options.
AP: Nader 2%, Barr 1%; Research 2000: Barr 2%, Nader 2%.
