‘Krikorian in position to win,’ says Krikorian for Congress campaign; candidate will appear on CNN on Sept. 8

The following is a press release from David Krikorian’s campaign for US Congress in Ohio.

American Political Polling (APP) just conducted a survey, commissioned by the Krikorian for Congress campaign, of 400 registered voters in Ohio’s second congressional district (OH2). The survey, conducted August 29-30, 2008, relates to the district’s tightening three-way congressional race. The confidence level is 95% with a 4.9% margin of error.

Mike Gravel to host book signing and fundraiser for West Virginian Mounty Party gubernatorial candidate

Former presidential candidate Mike Gravel will be hosting a book signing on Saturday at Taylor Books in Charleston, West Virginia, from 2 to 4 pm. Afterward, he will host a fundraiser for former Green Party presidential candidate and current Mountain Party gubernatorial candidate Jesse Johnson. Gravel had previously endorsed Johnson’s run for president.… Read more ...

Paul-Goldwater paperwork submitted in Louisiana

Trent Hill reports that the Taxpayers Party submitted paperwork to the Lousiana Secretary of State to nominate Ron Paul for president and Barry Goldwater, Jr. for vice president. Goldwater, Jr. accepted the nomination, and it is assumed that Paul will not reject it, based on his passive acceptance of a theoretical VP nomination in Virginia.… Read more ...

IPR was on the scene at this past Tuesday’s Rally for the Republic, keeping tabs on third party activity as Libertarians, Constitutionalists and Ron Paul Republicans collided just 10 miles from the scene of a more subdued major party political gathering. Jesse Ventura endorses fellow 9/11 Truther Kevin Barrett

As reported by the Associated Press:

Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura has endorsed a Sept. 11 conspiracy theorist for a congressional seat.

Ventura came out Thursday in support of Kevin Barrett, a Libertarian running against incumbent Democrat Ron Kind for western Wisconsin’s seat.
