Barr to speak at University of Michigan-Dearborn today

The AP reports Libertarian presidential nominee Bob Barr will speak today at noon at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. The AP says Barr “has emerged as a favorite alternative for people who’d backed Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul.”

A mid-July poll showed Barr at two percent in Michigan.

    Was that today? Damn. I would go but my schedule is pretty packed. I gotta clip my toe nails around 11am and then the blue slushie I plan on buying around 12:15 pm.

    Though it would be tough to quantify, I actually think Chuck Baldwin would not only be “a favorite”, but “THE favorite” of Ron Paul backers.

    Barr just is not skeptical enough of government action/coercion. What do you expect from a former federal prosecutor/CIA guy . . . government imposition of “order” is paramount!

    Baldwin, though a bit too protectionist for me, at least seems to believe in his maker as supreme, and is quite skeptical of government taking care of things.
