Barr 5%, Nader 2% in national Zogby poll

An online Zogby poll of 2,020 likely voters across the U.S. conducted August 29-30 (+/- 2.2%) shows Libertarian Bob Barr at five percent and independent Ralph Nader at two in a four-way race. Barr draws two percent of Democrats, four percent of Republicans, and 11 percent of independents; Nader draws one percent of Democrats, one percent of Republicans, and four percent of independents.

In the four-way race, Barack Obama takes 44%, John McCain 43%; but if Barr and Nader are omitted, McCain leads Obama, 47% to 45%.

    McCain’s VP pick is definitely aimed at curbing support for Barr, whipping Ron Paul supporters back into line in the GOP, and wooing Hillary supporters.

    Well great then. That shows they (the GOP) are legitimately afraid, whether they’ll publicly admit it or not. Too bad this won’t bite them in the ass and keep Palin from eventually towing the party line.

    I hope Palin is not a lure to Ron Paul supporters; she may have had some doings with the LP in AK, but she is also a Buchananite-type crypto-fascist, we know this to be true. Actually, she seem’s imho, sort of like, say, 1998 Barr?!

    I’ll be real curious to hear what all Palin has to say in the nxt two moons. Having accepted McCain’s invite, will she match words with him a lot? I don’t know enough about her. Does anybody really? How is she “crypto-fscist”?

    Whom are all these folks ‘turning their eye toward……Denver…..Minnesota’? Out of maybe forty folks I know of one glued to the Obama – Biden [the Plagierist] love fest, three whom tuned in. Everyone else I know of views the goings on whilst channel surfing.

    78 m Viewer for the DNC? TV hype [AND LIES] or is my circle [libertarians, reformers, indies] THAT FAR OUT of the norm?
