The Downer Party

I’m out of town for a few days, but I thought IPR readers might be interested in this post from my personal blog about why I rejoined the Libertarian Party and my thoughts on the LP’s frequent internal conflicts.

Dr. Chuck BaldWIN is a solid candidate on “homeschooling”.

BTP leader’s reasons for leaving his former party: allegations of corruption and disagreement with some past positions of the presidential nominee.

If you applied that rule to Republicans and Democrats they would have no members.

    Indeed.

I left the Democrats for that reason in 1992. Should I hold the Libertarians to a lower standard?

But, I’m not leaving - I’m a life member, even if they refuse to ship me the print version of LP news and have removed the electronic version entirely. Among many other things I won’t mention.

However, I think I’ll join the BTP and Green Party as well, just to hedge my bets.
