“While I don’t necessarily follow the party line 100% of the the time, I think the recent press release by the Libertarian Party was right on the mark,” says Scotty Boman, in reference to the “Let Them Fail” press release issued by the LP in response to the impending bankruptcy of government-sponsored enterprises, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
“While the parties and candidates of big government continue to fight over who’s big government waste of your tax dollars is better, the party of principal says, ‘Let them fail.’ There is no free enterprise system, without risk. Using the sustenance of working people to repeatedly bail out failing corporations is one thing that continues to bankrupt this country. Who will bail out the United States when it fails? what will we be expected to give up in return?”
Boman cites Jim Rogers as an authority he trusts on the issue.
