Server crashed again today. I talked with tech support and they said the traffic was not the cause, and gave me a tip on stabilizing the server that will hopefully work. That’s good, since the reason I own the server is NOT for IPR, but for a much more intensive application.

Im not going to toot my own horn–but i’ll certainly give GE a firm pat on the back. This is his idea, his project, and his investment–and he’s done GREAT with it. It helped that he brought along the bloggers in the third-party world (Tom Knapp and Austin Cassidy) along with a few lesser-known newbies like Gregg Jocoy and myself. Im proud of everyone here–let’s make this site what it really is capable of.

As an occasional contributor I suppose I should just keep my mouth shut. I too don’t want to break my arm trying to pat myself on the back, but since I have very little to do with the success of the site, all I can say is, thanks to those who got the ball rolling.

By the way I am still interested in blogging here. If there is a conflict of interest in also blogging at TPW, I’d go with IPR, although I do sort of owe them a belated convention report since they eventually re-issued my press credentials.

Then again, they also no longer link to me, LFV, Knapp or Bennett, so maybe I do not owe them anything.
