I can go for cute gimmicks. Hell, I thought the idea of a pirate candidate (for student president at a local U) was amusing. But 'spaded'. I just can't get behind such egregious misuse of the English language. As for the metaphor itself, I do like the idea of political castration, but NOT in the name of making politicians more 'effective'. God forbid! But, OK, he does have at least one good zinger (I do not comment on the issue itself): "Unless You Believe in ZOMBIES Capital Punishment does deter crime".
