The Boston Tea Party’s online convention has begun the balloting process for determining its presidential and vice-presidential nominees. For president, Charles Jay and Robert Milnes are running. For vice president, there are three candidates: Todd Andrew Barnett, Chris Bennett, and Thomas Knapp. Voters are allowed to choose “None of the Above” for both offices. The party is using “approval voting,” which means electors can vote for more than one candidate.
Voting started at 9:00 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, and will remain open until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.

Vice Presidential and Presidential debates including all five BTP candidates were held live last night on RPI Radio. They will continue to be rebroadcast on RPI every two hours until voting ends on Monday night.

As a BTP convention delegate from the great non-state of D.C., I have to say I was very disappointed by the lack of hospitality suites from the candidates. Also, no booze.

I just voted. Does anyone know where I can find the debate? That radio link didn’t have it.

Peter,
I think the booze plugin for Firefox is still in development. Or maybe beta, but the developers and testers are all too squiffed to finish.

I’d also join just to vote for Milnes.
