Who is the founder of funkymunky? Pot, kettle, etc.

The Boston Tea Party is a political party founded by Tom Knapp in 2006. Some of us joined up right away, including me. Many of us were very disappointed with the LP in 2006 after their convention eviscerated their platform.

An earlier event, called the Boston Tea Party, took place in 1773 and included participants like Sam Adams, probably. Since most of those involved wore disguises, we have only eye witness accounts to go on.

Thomas L. Knapp is the founder of the BTP – he ran for Congress last year and was also the Party’s first VP nominee and is running for President in 2012

It seems that the Boston Tea Party is having a wild resurgence. We have rapidly increased the membership on the party’s site and on our groups at Facebook and Myspace. Several people are working diligently to form new state affiliates. Ballot access is being developed – we should be on at least two or three states by the end of July.
