    Yeah, T.R. was a Lincolnian centralist-nationalist.

I think we have room for 50 flags.

“In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith, becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”

    Bob,

    You write:

“If I can get the BTP nomination and sufficient campaign support”

That’s something you’ve been saying for some years now, while:

    – Refusing to face the fact that your “possible winning strategy” has no basis in fact or reality and that this is obvious to everyone except you;

    – Refusing to consider the possibility that one reason you haven’t received “sufficient campaign support” is that your campaign platform is repugnant to both libertarians and progressives, the political groups you’re seeking that support from; and

    – Refusing to demonstrate that you can campaign effectively with the assets you have, which in turn makes the decision not to provide you with more such assets relatively easy.

“If a plurality of voters supported me, I could win” is an obviosity; equally obvious, but apparently not on your radar anywhere is the fact that said plurality won’t support you unless you give them reasons to support you.

“If” is strong, Robert. Do you have a plan? What are you going to do to pass the presumptive nominee Charles Jay?
    oy oy yoysh!

If I can get the BTP nomination and sufficient campaign support, I plan to go to Oklahoma & meet the Indians & ask their support to get on the OK ballot & as many others as possible. I can then go to Chicago with 4 valuable assets to request their nomination. 1. Some libertarian support. 2. Indian support. 3. OK ballot access. 4. A possible winning strategy by the progressive plurality.

I’m tempted to join the Party just to support Milnes. My two Teddy R. books would have to increase in value!

    Wouldn’t they ?!

GO! Robert !! Teddy and I are behind you in spirit! (er, we’re both a little short on cash, we’ve been supporting Dr. BaldWIN, sorry).

I got a little testy when he kept emailing people to try and convince them to be his running mate.

I recall. Not your best moment, and that’s saying something.
You’ll have to pull your weight like crazy if you stand a friggin’ slight chance.

Mike Theodore, I was in the LPNJ/PA debate.

    Robert Milnes in a debate?!
    I gotta see this!
