Earlier today I noted that the message boards that the Alan Keyes campaign was using had gone down and were not accessible, and had been offline for a couple of days.
As it turns out, there’s good reason for this and it’s not that they forgot to pay the bill. Apparently, their webhosting provider caught fire on Saturday and there was an explosion that shut-down the facility. Click here to read more about the fire.

It’s not an act of God.
The same explosion took out the web hosting of a small sci-fi convention I volunteer at (now moved to new hosting- http://www.apollocon.org ) and a very popular webcomic created by a fine upstanding man ( http://www.schlockmercenary.com ).
And, also, seven thousand other customers.

I meant that mostly as a joke since Keyes repeatedly says he is doing what God tells him to and is being steered onto this path by God, etc.
The reality, of course, is that he’s a self-promoting side-show.

Same here, Kris. I’m sick and tired of people like Keyes using god to promote themselves and their hateful ideologies.
