Nolan’s Run: Looking Back at 2004

May 22nd, 2008 · 1 Comment

Apparently some filmmakers were following Gary Nolan around in 2004, with the aims of making a documentary about his campaign for President. It’s been shown at atleast one film festival, but I’ve actually never heard about this project.

The filmmakers have been kind enough to offer some clips from the film on YouTube.

Here is the best of the bunch, a selection of footage from the actual convention. It’s interesting to see Nolan’s overconfidence…

A sample of Ron Paul’s keynote speech to the 2004 convention…

And finally, this portion features clips from a Presidential debate between Nolan and Badnarik in Wisconsin earlier in the year…

I’ve always wanted to see this, but it’s nowhere. I wasn’t around for the 2004 LP race. I was pretty stupid back then, and was a Republican. Damned 12 year old Mike!
