Mary Ruwart nominates Steve Kubby

May 25th, 2008 · 5 Comments

Mary Ruwart just nominated Steve Kubby for Vice-President. Her comments seemed to indicate that she thought a “radical” would balance the Bob Barr ticket very well. That as a west-coast radical, Steve Kubby would compliment Barr, an east coast reformer, quite well. Ruwart also threw a few elbows by saying that Kubby “supported liberty at its fullest” and that Kubby supports “an end to all drug prohibition, not just medical marijuana”.

Wayne Root was also nominated, by a former Editor of Reason Magazine.

Bob Barr then spoke candidly about his choice for Vice-president. He took the stage with Wayne Root and stated that “A vice-president candidate must compliment the presidential candidate”. He urged all delegates to vote for Wayne Allyn Root, while emphasizing that he could work with Steve Kubby or any libertarian.

that fix has been in for a while now; in retrospect, it is a wonder we didn’t know this would happen … months ago, about 5 minutes after Barr entered the show, and Root all but openly endorsed him!

    They are indeed a package.

Kubby is wasting his breath; I think we lost a lot today.

    buh-bye!

Kubby would have been a better choice to unify the party.
