May 25th, 2008 · 2 Comments

Former congresscritter Bob Barr just secured the nomination of the Libertarian Party, shortly after defeating party-activist Mary Ruwart by 8% or 48 votes.

Barr was endorsed on the 5th ballot by Wayne Root, who was hoping for the Vice-Presidential nomination, though that has yet to be voted upon.
